Hi Mike! Long time no see! I'm actually quite proud of a few of the pieces I worked on back then, though they were marketing campaigns and not straightforward games. Fun to hear the numbers, of course!

I didn't know you did the shake up globe... that work is hilarious. I run into it every couple years, usually someone sends me a link. Love it!

I was running e-tractions when you developed the Snowglobe. That interactive was the most successful campaign we ever did -- eventually generating over 15 M downloads and was personalized for a number of companies from the Chairman of Universal Studios (2007 Xmas) to The Weepies (2008) to the pharmaceutical drug Lunesta.

I still get emails from people around the world every Thanksgiving asking if we've updated the Snowglobe. Pretty amazing given it was done in Flash 2 or something.

This post reminded me of a page I bookmarked a while back:
http://www.gameai.com/exaigames.html which has a list of games with programmable AI (although some are part of the developer tools). One of the most interesting was Terrarium AI (http://www.codeplex.com/terrarium2) which has some similarities to the AI idea behind DinoDrop. I think developing believable animal AI is a fascinating subject and there's a lot of scope to make them more realistic by understanding animal behaviour and how both physiology and resources influence that behaviour.
