Dino-a-day: Parasaurolophus

Parasaurolophus is the “cow” of Dinosauria. As a mid-sized (for a dinosaur), meaty, somewhat defenseless beast, he roams the forests in search of leafy grub. There are many theories as to what Parasaurolophus used it’s hollow nasal ridge for, including vocalization and increased smell capabilities.

  4. We’re not sure, but that’s the sort of thing we’re playing with right now!

  5. Hmm… That’s one niche down. “Large dumb grazing herbivore” is now filled :P I hope we can change the uses of that horn for diffferent purposes… I like the color, it remends me of some sort of water-pattern, with the blotches of darker blue and stuff.
