DinoProgress: 28%
The progress bar took a big bump up today! We’re at 28 percent!
We’re taking a different approach to development with Dinosauria than we did with our previous two games. In the past, we’ve gotten into publishing deals early on, which forced us to ship on tight schedules. This time around, we’re not signing with anyone until the game is largely complete. We don’t want to be beholden to any schedule that may cause us to ship the game before it’s the best darn animal game ever.
So, what have we been up to lately? The fun stuff: gameplay!
With our latest work, dinosaurs can now breed, have familial relationships, fight, defend their territory, and more. The environment and weather fluctuates, and you can spread plants on fertile ground. Our dinosaur and foliage artwork is nearly done.
What’s next? Animation, level design, and advanced dinosaur behaviors!
You might ask, with all this stuff in there, why is the progress bar only at 28%? Well, first of all, the last stuff, the polish, always takes the most time. And second of all, this game is MUCH bigger than our previous ventures. I can’t wait to share it with the world!

I cant wait until you finish,till then Ill look up to it everyday as if I’m looking up to rain through a drought,in other words I cant wait!

i can wait to play this game!! but coul you relese both the mac version and the pc version at the same time? i had to wait a long agonising year to play venture arctic whilst everybody else was praising it so much.

wow i love all ur games and i played them all so please finish this game how is the game gonna be like is gonna be like venture africa or venture artic?I hope it will be like venture africa and venture artic if it is u made my day.

Hey if some of you like wolves i know just the game; (the new game sounds really cool by the way) WolfQuest if you already know about dont reply. But in the game you create your own wolf and name make it a male or female and you find a mate. The next episode that is coming out is titled Slough Creek this episode you get a territory and raise pups!(not out) its a free but good graphiced game to get it go to http://www.wolfquest.org

I really like your games but, I think the first one is better because you can actually be the animal, and I was just wondering what the new games outline was exactly.

You know what is weird? I had a dream after I played ventrue africa for the first time that I was playing this game with dinosaurs! I just think that was cool. And another thing, your game sounds AWESOME!!!!!! I can’t wait to play it! By the way, can you PLEASE update the progress bar? I really want the game to be finished before summer is over, because when school starts I won’t have any time to play the game…. So anyway, great game your making!

Hello. I have taken looks at the Venture games, and am reall interested in the games and how much work you put into it. I just don’t think you are updating the progress bar, because in April it was 28% and now it look like 40 or more, it just looks like that… Anyway, i’m looking forward to Dinosauria!

When are you going to finish this game?! I just can’t wait to play it!
