Dinosauria dinos in another game!

Seeing as how it will be a little while till I'm back to Dinosauria, I decided to rent out our beautiful dinosaurs to another indie developer making a game about dinosaurs, just so that they could see the light of day! I present to you,

Looks really cool! Just one question, are they using ALL of the dinosaurs fromm Dinosauria? Personally I hope they don't, since for me, that would ruin the surprise of seeing the actual Dinosauria dinosaurs in the Dinosauria game.

Off-Road Velociraptor Safari HD probably won't be out until late this year (September-November, I believe), so there's quite a while.

People who previously purchased OVRS/pre-ordered HD will be able to access beta builds earlier, however.

It was really important to me that our dinosaurs see the light of day, and seeing as how Monaco is turning into a bigger and bigger project, it might be quite a while till I get back to Dinosauria. (this bums me out too, but honestly, Monaco is incredibly fantastic, and a much better game than Dinosauria at the moment). I'm really proud of the dinosaur designs, all the thought and work that went into creating them, so I thought the best thing I could do was let them live in the wild, even if they are not in the world of Dinosauria (for now).

Seriously though, the dinosaurs look so good it isn't funny. The Utahraptor is amazing.

Well, while this may take a little bit of the uniqueness out of VD, I must admit that they all look absolutely fantastic in the world of ORVS! My only recommendations are some of the dinos seem a little oversized and the shape of the Rex's head looks closer something out of Jurassic Park than the real thing. But still, ORVS has never been meant to be serious or accurate and I'm certainly looking forward to it.

I just saw the newer pictures a while ago. The Utahraptor is probably the best looking one of all of the 7 out of 12 VD dinosaurs previewed so far. (It also answered my silent question on what the Utahraptor might look like in VD ) Like I saird, I hope they don't use ALL of the VD dinosaurs, but that is for Andy to decide, not me. If they do use all of the dinosaurs, then I hope they pre-view Acrocanthosaurus really soon! I really would like to see how it looks in-game!

Also, did anyone notice that the T-Rex has red feathers on its chin?

Actually whether all the dinosaurs are used is up to Flashbang, not Pocketwatch.

And the feathered Rex has been known about since June last year. Didn't you notice?

I laughed so hard at the description for this game on their website...it's so random, I'll definitely snag it when it comes out. Pretty cool that you offered your models to them, Andy! It's not often that you see one game company help out another like that.

I have to agree though, those dinosaurs are probably the best I have ever seen.

I went ahead and preordered it, with the coupon code as well. This game looks like it'll be a lot of offbeat, random fun.

*Edits post* Turns out, when you preorder the game, you get a free copy of the original Off-Road Velociraptor Safari. This game is ridiculously fun, plus it's funny to boot. You can apparently do stunts with your vehicle, and I did one called a Barrel Roll, just by accident. The first thing I thought of was the famous internet meme, "Do a barrel roll!" which started in WoW. I laughed so hard. xD Also, when you hit a Velociraptor, you hear a sort of bird squawk, and feathers go flying everywhere.

Since I preordered ORVHD(wow, now there's an acronym for ya)I get to be a beta tester. Yay! I read on the site that a beta version might be coming out this month.
